Epcot is a major theme park operated by the Walt Disney Company in Orlando, Florida dedicated to International culture and technology. The name Epcot was coined by Walt Disney himself and stands for Experimental Prototype Community of Tomorrow. The park encompasses more than 300 acres and was built at a cost of $1.4 billion dollars, opening in 1982.
